VANNA.

Last month I shot the Human Abstract/Oh Sleeper tour with support by Iwrestledabearonce & Vanna, this was at the reverb in Toronto. I tend to shoot there a lot, because many decent bands rock the stage there!

I'll start off with a few shots of Vanna.
These guys where a good opener, they got me pumped!

be check to check out their new record "A New Hope"
listen here http://www.myspace.com/vanna

AlienBEE!!!

So I just recently purchased a studio strobe! which are like high powered flashes that you put on light stands. Strobes are perfect for using in a studio as well as outdoors!

The quality of light in a photograph is one of the most important aspects in photography.

Back 2 Blogging!

BBABH

These are some special photoshopped photos
I did of the band Blessed by a broken heart!
I can't wait till I shoot them again on March 1st!

if this was a movie it would be pure cheese!

if I was pitching it to some Hollywood producers
this is what I would say:

" Okay, there's this 1 guy & he's just walking & he
meets this other guy & the guy, he has a gun &
he says " WRONG PLACE WRONG TIME! "
& then shoots the guy! man! it would be great! "

These are just weird; I'm weird...

Get Pumped cuz I'm posting some
special Blessed by a Broken Heart
photos tomorrow! :0

KTizzleOdrizzle

Kathleen Turner Overdrive: A bunch of funny dudes!
they have some decent stage presence & keep the
audience puzzled with what comes out of Jon's (the vocalists)
mouth. Here's a couple from a show later last year at Johnny B's
in Whitby. They called it quits back in December...
I enjoyed these guys though! KTO was solid! R.I.P.

the Top 3 films of 2008!

There were many great films in 2008, here's my top 3 in no particular order:

SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE
directed by: Danny Boyle
(trainspotting, 28 days later & sunshine)

Slumdog Millionaire is the story of Jamal Malik, an 18 year-old orphan from the slums of Mumbai, who is about to experience the biggest day of his life. With the whole nation watching, he is just one question away from winning a staggering 20 million rupees on India's "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?"

THE WRESTLER
directed by: Darren Aronofsky (
Pi, Requiem for a Dream & the Fountain)

Back in the late '80s, Randy "The Ram" Robinson (Mickey Rourke) was a headlining professional wrestler. Now, twenty years later, he ekes out a living performing for handfuls of diehard wrestling fans in high school gyms and community centers around New Jersey.

THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON

directed by: David Fincher ( Seven, Fight Club & Zodiac)

"I was born under unusual circumstances." And so begins 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,' adapted from the 1920s story by F. Scott Fitzgerald about a man who is born in his eighties and ages backwards: a man, like any of us, who is unable to stop time. We follow his story, set in New Orleans from the end of World War I in 1918 to the 21st century, following his journey that is as unusual as any man's life can be.

These films are simply amazing!
Everything about them just gets to me.
I highly recommend that you check them out!
